The STORM Volleyball Club Experience
What is Club Volleyball? In Short, it is competitive teams for intermediate to advanced skill athletes ready to invest more time and energy into volleyball.
Why Play at STORM? We are a team of passionate coaches with the experience to develop athletes to achieve excellence in volleyball and throughout life. Plano Sports Authority (PSA) is the home of STORM meaning we are well equipped with all the tools without the added cost!
How it Works:
Tryout Clinics
Timing: May 5 - July 8
Tryouts for the 26/27 club season begin May 5th. If you are interested in playing, we highly suggest that your athlete attend a tryout clinic at the beginning of May before the verbal offers go out. Clinics are a great way to meet the coaches and learn about STORM.
Verbal Offers
Timing: May 18th
Verbal offers for teams can go out May 19th. Teams will start to fill at this time. Verbal offers can only be made to STORM players or players not affiliated with any club.
Acceptance Day
Timing: July 7
Official binding offers will go out July 8th. Contracts will go out after the offer is accepted.
Pre-Season Training
Timing: August - November
USAV Season
Timing: November - April
Teams begin practices in November and tournaments begin in December or January. Season can be extended to May if a team receives a National Bid.
