Coach Amanda grew up in northwest Washington state where she played club competitively and with her school since the age of 11, specializing in playing libero/defensive specialist. Amanda has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She started coaching while in college 10 years ago. Her coaching passion is to build strong foundational skill and correct technique from a young age while implementing a strong intention of applying and maintaining injury prevention to her coaching philosophy. She believes in appropriate court behavior, improve habits of positive feedback, self encouragement, and create team focused athletes. She specializes in movement analysis and correction to improve skill. Amanda brings her expertise in sport specific strength and conditioning and post injury return-to-play to Storm Volleyball Club.
Coach Julia was born in Poland, raised in Greece where she won nationals with her club team Panellinios. She was recruited and played for Arizona State University as a middle blocker. In 2015 she moved to West Texas and was the Assistant Volleyball Coach for the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. She has her masters in Educational Leadership and a bachelors in Child Development and Sociology. Now living in Dallas, she is a full time Storm Volleyball coach and Assistant Director.Julia wants to inspire players to develop confidence and competitive drive on and off the court. She has been coaching club volleyball for 7 seasons and has played volleyball for 13+ years.

Coach Juliana grew up in Flower Mound, TX and played for Dallas Force from 2002 to 2006, winning the Lone Star Classic in 2006. She went on to play Middle Blocker at Cornell University and was co-captain of the team her senior season. Juliana has coached recreational and club volleyball for more than 6 years in the North Texas region. She holds an MA/MBA from SMU and works as an analyst.
10 Black Head Coach
Coach Sofia played competitively for 8+ years in Brazil. She was offered a scholarship to play in high school at Colégio Americano Academy. She has played in multiple National Championships, premier clubs, and local adult leagues. This will be her 8th year coaching club volleyball. Sofia is currently full time PSA Volleyball Director and Coach for Storm. She has a Master’s in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Architecture and Urbanism. “As a coach my main goal is pass my enthusiasm and passion to the athletes and always striving for the players achieve the best form in every volleyball skill.”

Coach Lauren grew up in Wills Point, TX where she played school volleyball through 12th grade, she also played club volleyball in Rockwall, TX. Lauren continued to play collegiate volleyball for two years where she was an outside hitter and Libero. She received her B.A. in Psychology and has a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health. Lauren has 3 years experience in coaching volleyball camps for players in 1st - 9th grade. Lauren enjoys watching players advance in volleyball through their skills as well as leadership. She loves to encourage and push players when it comes to hustling and being aggressive. "The game of volleyball is never the same, every time a player steps on the court it is a new experience and they will learn something with every point."

Coach Mitch grew up in Washington state. He is a certified personal trainer and avid sports fan. Over the past few years, Coach Mitch has had the opportunity to spend time around club volleyball and has grown to love the sport. This is Coach Mitch's second year coaching club. His coaching style focuses on improving skill with consistent, corrective feedback to improve form and technique.

Coach Shelley grew up in Carrollton, TX and played competitive volleyball for 5 years. As a competitive player, she was a defensive specialist and setter. She also played for her high school team as a libero and has played recreation volleyball for 10 years. She holds a degree from the University of North Texas in Elementary Education and currently works as a teaching assistant. This will be Shelley’s third year coaching club and working with the girls to develop their skills.

Coach Sierra grew up in The Colony, TX where she played school volleyball from 7th grade- 12th grade as well as playing club volleyball for 7 years. She was a three-year varsity player at The Colony and a First Team All-District selection. She then continued to play volleyball for two years where she was a middle blocker, both years making appearances in the NAIA National Tournament for the first time in school history. Sierra has coached recreational and club volleyball for 5 years in the North Texas region.

Coach Shannon hails from Jacksonville Florida and graduated in Atlanta Georgia where she won All district honors in High school. After securing a full scholarship from Florida State University at the age of 16, she played for Cecile Reynaud at FSU as a 4-year starter and Varsity Athlete, where the team made 2 national tournament appearances and Garnished top 20 rankings.
Shannon has been coaching club in the Dallas area for over 20 years, including coaching at PSA. She believes in Fundamental skill training, Positive instruction and instilling a love for the game of volleyball. She has been blessed to see players go on to play varsity high school and college level and has coached in several National tournaments.
Her passion is coaching young players and seeing them develop through participation and instruction both on and off the court. One of her favorite quotes is “The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team." – Phil Jackson
Coach KB grew up in Plano, Texas. She played club volleyball at Summit/Nitro for 6 years and played at John Paul II high school. KB was an outside and right side hitter. In college, she played beach volleyball at Spring Hill college. Coach KB also started coaching club for Lower Alabama Volleyball club while in college. This past May she graduated with a BA in English and history. Currently, Coach KB is pursuing a career in Strength and Conditioning.

Coach Ozzy was born and raised in Cuba, where he played and excelled in different sports. After moving to the US and eventually Texas, he began to coach his 2 daughters in volleyball at PSA. After coaching his daughters for several years, his love for coaching volleyball and becoming a mentor to up coming players took off. He has been a dedicated coach at PSA since 2012, coaching up to 4 teams a season in different age groups. His biggest goal while coaching at Storm Volleyball Club is to guide players to develop new skills in order to get them to peak performance and improvement.
Coach Lindsey grew up in southern Maine where she played club volleyball for Maine Juniors, ranking in the top 10% of teams in New England her senior year. She played all 4 years at the collegiate club level at Elon University in North Carolina as a right side hitter. Lindsey began coaching and played on her college club team , leading her team to 3rd place at NCVF College Nationals, in Denver 2019. This is her first year coaching club in the North Texas Region.
She believes in coaching through supportive and encouraging environment, installing respect for the sport, coaches and teammates.
Coach Samantha was raised Plano, Texas, and played club volleyball for eight years at the national level. In 2016, she was the senior co-captain of the Prince of Peace High School team, and helped to bring the team to the state semi-final, where she was selected for the All-State Tournament Team. She is currently the captain of the Austin College Volleyball Team where she is a setter. In 2020, she will graduate with bachelors in Political Science and Psychology. She has been with Storm Volleyball for two years.
Coach Brooke was raised in Dallas, TX, where she attended Richardson High School. She was a four year varsity letter winner, and was the captain her Junior and Senior year. She is currently an outside hitter for the Austin College volleyball team. In 2020, she will graduate with a bachelors in Public Health.
